The Kenya we live in, when their are spark of fire people ignore, then the smoke starts rising up but again people ignore or want a recognition for that, then their is a firebreak out and those directly involved are left to look for the best means for putting out the fire.
There is one thing about this if you saw the spark , or the smoke and you did nothing then you should remain so even after the fire is put out in any means possible.
Kenya has very intellectual guys who are seen on articles blogging about how one leader or the other has done something bad.
We must acknowledge there are leaders and there are smart intellects, i may not be a leader but i may be smart and amidst the life struggles, we should still be able to help our leaders, at least if you have the ball to care for the future and work priceless for it now for your future children.
Basically people love meandering articles the kind of articles that would go meandering pondering others while praising themselves.
I call it the "paradox of self appraisal" that those who can help , do it in a different way and that is by pondering what has been done and failed so that the remain to be the intellects.
His excellency HASSAN ALI JOHO, whether critics argue it out or not should know that he would go down in history as one of the governors who has tried all the best to get to do what he seems right, he has beautified Mombasa county even though Obama is not coming to kenya, those who can relate can relate.
The governor of Nairobi did that to his county when Obama was coming, and Joho is doing it even though no one of Obama's calibers is coming to Mombasa. people should be able to know this i thought its so painful to be bitter with one when you could have helped, looking for publicity in a crude way shows you are crude.
The Kibarani dumpsite had adverse effects on the people living around, the smells coming from the dumpsite was wanting and affected the people's hygiene, water being a major basic want in humans was affected by the Kibarani dumpsite in huge way.
The marine ecosystem was also adversely affected by the immense dumping which added to the oil spillage that happened in the 1990's All conjoined have had more effects to the marine organism and Tudor creek ought to harbor diverse marine species which is not the case due to the natural deficiencies experience in the estuary.
Apparaently any one coming to kenya must pass by the kibarani site, i was a frequent user of the ropute and being allergic to smoike and bad smell kibarabni was the worst scen in ever saw on my way to town and back, i just held my breath whenever i got there which now is not the case.
His excellency the governor HASSAN ALI JOHO , has done his part and whether critics argue it out or not that is his part,initially the trees planted were not doing well, and almost all of them died, this is because the land had been degraded beyond the abiotic level and required chemical intervention and not physical anymore. That is why even though trees were planted, they could not thrive our governor is a governor and not a scientist and am sure he may have missed the information but all the blame goes to all the scientists around him, they ought to have known this, in business at times you make a loss to make a profit am sure the chemical management can still be administered.And by the time real tress will be planted the place would be good enough to grow tree, some leaders are basing the arguments of the fact that, because the place was a dumpsite it means it was a fertile place, let leaders be leaders and let scholars be scholars because there is a wide difference in between leaders lead people while scholar educate and enlighten people.
What has been done in Kibarani site would remain so as it has already been done now lets focus on whats next, because we all know that we need natural stuff, give credit where due, but i must also say its disappointing to use reindeers when there are not even from Africa, we have so many animals species from Kenya but he chose a reinder from the united states of america probably, so lets us all embrace the fact that he has done his best and just like Najib Balala has said he should be recommended for his efforts.
